In addition to our growing array of ESG solutions, consideration of ESG issues is becoming an increasingly important aspect of how MSCI is managed as a business overall.  To that end, in November 2018, Diana Tidd, Head of Index at MSCI, was appointed Chief Responsibility Officer (CRO).  Ms. Tidd and the firm's Corporate Responsibility Committee work closely with MSCI’s senior leadership team to guide and communicate ESG policies for the firm, and to oversee the governance structure for the company’s ESG practices. This includes how MSCI can further reduce its environmental impact and carbon footprint through its business strategy.  As CRO, Ms. Tidd reports semi-annually to the Nominating and Governance Committee of the MSCI Board of Directors.
