With our three step approach MEASURE – PREPARE – ACT, AXA IM Real Assets analyzes various ESG indicators on an asset level and we have rated the majority of our portfolio. Based on this ESG rating we have set in place a detailed ESG action plan for improvements of the individual asset which is monitored via our online ESG platform. In more detail, our reduction targets will be aligned with IPCC targets to achieve net zero CO2 emissions by 2050.

The Property Manager is also subject to a specific Asset Management contract tailored to fit the legal requirements of the territory involved and the nature of the investment fund or mandate. As a consequence the Property Manager is subject to specific ESG requirements such as improving energy efficiency, specific request for proposal procedure for contracts etc. that need to be implemented in the frame of the collaboration.

As property reporting standards we use GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines; G4; INREV Sustainability reporting recommendations for fund reports

We also use local environmental certifications to ensure that buildings are up to standards in all of our regions of operations. Some other certification schemes implemented include Minergie, DGNB, Energy Star, Casbee, FSC, etc.

We have also actively participated in the GRESB survey since 2011 with consistent green star funds.
