SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.1. Indicate the internal and/or external roles used by your organisation, and indicate for each whether they have oversight and/or implementation responsibilities for responsible investment.

07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

Policies set by the BoD come for systematic one year review. During this review the effectiveness and reports relating to set policies comes to the attention of the BoD.

Management has both the oversight and reporting responsibilities as well as encouraging investment professionals to take part in training and identifying where Stefnir can be of importance with incorporating ESG factors during the investment process. Exercising voting and considering all agenda proposals at shareholders meetings are led by a committee which the CEO chairs. Stefnir publishes publicly annually how it has voting according to its proxy voting rules.

Investment professionals have the responsibility to adhere to the policy set by the BoD and report on successful incorporation of ESG factors to investment processes as well as identifying opportunities of improved ESG within listed companies and during investment in private equity investments.
