Sanso Investment Solutions is an independent asset management company headquartered in Paris, France. The company manages approximately EUR 900M at the end of 2019 and employs 24 people.

The company manages equity, fixed income, and balanced funds as well as funds of funds and wealth management mandates.

The client base is evenly split between institutional investors and retail clients, mostly IFAs advising high net-worth individuals. The ability to design investment solutions tailored to the needs of its clients is one of the key differentiators of the firm. Half of the assets are managed through dedicated funds or mandates.

The second key differentiator is the implementation of a SRI policy to the vast majority of the assets the firm manages. Hence the decision was taken to sign up to the PRI right after the creation of the firm in June 2017.

We signed a contract with MSCI to get ESG, carbon and SDG exposure data. We selected ISS to support us in the implementation of our voting policy which is deployed since January 2019.

We also strengthened the integration of ESG in all our investment processes, provided several ESG trainings to employees, organized or took part in various ESG events and supported several ESG initiatives.  

At the beginning of 2020 Sanso IS got to the top of the independant ESG rating agency Ethifinance's "Responsible Strategy" ranking. This ranking compares the ESG strategies of more than 200 French Asset Managers whose asset under management does not exceed EUR 5 Bn.
