Our endowment has 2 main accounts : the general account and the long term accumulation account.

For asset gathering section, both funds will be combined...for the return gathering section, returns from the long term accumulation account will be used.

As a whole, the Université de Sherbrooke has more than 7000 employees and the Endowment has 9 permanent FTE office staff and several employees in the outreach process to gather new donations. The person responsible for the investment portfolio management is a consultant (nobody else within the team has investment/portfolio management expertise).
