05.1. During due-diligence indicate if your organisation typically incorporates ESG issues when selecting private equity investments.

05.2. Describe your organisation`s approach to incorporating ESG issues in private equity investment selection.

ESG issues are part of our value creation strategy. These issues are also of major concern to our institutional investor clients.

Governance:

  • Good governance of our portfolio companies is critical for our business. Only well governed companies create value for our investors.

Environment:

  • Our portfolio companies are often suppliers to multinational corporations. In order to sustain such client relations our companies must fulfill strict environmental criteria in order to continue the client relationship and to attract new clientele. For consumer clients, addressing environmental issues is also a must.

Social:

  • We want to be sure that our portfolio companies fulfill their social responsibilities.

05.3. Additional information. [Optional]

The investment committee monitors and guides the investment process:

  3. We use e.g. CDC ESG toolkit and IFC standards to evaluate and consider sector specific issues.
  4. All our companies have IFRS as their reporting standard. If other reporting standards are used, they are normalized to IFRS during Due Diligence. The portfolio companies follow industry standards and have the relevant ISO certificates
  5. All relevant information is collected to the Investment Memo which is distributed to the Investment Committee for decision making.
