01.4. Describe your organisation’s investment principles and overall investment strategy, interpretation of fiduciary (or equivalent) duties,and how they consider ESG factors and real economy impact.

Ovf (the “Fund”) wishes to conduct its business in accordance with principles for responsible, ethical and sound investment practice, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Corporate social responsibility in business practice and investments is intrinsic values to Ovf as the Fund’s pur-pose is to benefit the Norwegian Church. It is also a necessity in attaining trust by the surrounding world and achieving long term value for the stakeholders.

The Norwegian Church’s basic ethical values are expressed in a social commitment to enhance human values, peace, human rights and respect for the Creation. These four basic values give the frame for deriving themes that are relevant for the management of Ovfs property and investments. The themes may be linked to type of product, sector or behaviour. The vision for Ovf is to create economical return for the benefit of the Norwegian Church. And based on the Norwegian Church’s basic ethical values.

SG 01 CC. Climate risk

01.6 CC. Indicate whether your organisation has identified transition and physical climate-related risks and opportunities and factored this into the investment strategies and products, within the organisation’s investment time horizon.

Describe why your organisation has not yet gone through a process to identify transition and physical climate-related risks and opportunities.

The organization have not been in a position to do this work. A cost improvement program have been executed the last years and focus have been on this.

Explain the rationale

Since Ovf have not implemented the TCFD, there is nothing to report.

Describe how and over what time frame the organisation will implement an organisation-wide strategy that manages climate-related risks and opportunities.

It is needed to establish an internal project that covers all matters in this respect. The timing is not discussed. It may start in 2020.

Ovf have established separate guidelines for different asset classes. These cover ESG subjects within each asset class and the URL link may not be according to the specific "name" on the link. However, all existing guidelines are covered under the URLs provided.

Ovf have only one beneficient/client and therefore there are limited possibilities for conflicts of interest.
