Cbus invests in direct debt primarily in private companies. The debt team reviews third party service provider industry sector ESG information to determine material issues. The debt and RI teams work together to develop questions relating to the material ESG issues identified. Any relevant issues are resolved either through responses or contractual requirements.

Cash

ESG factors are a consideration in our selection and appointment process for fund managers. Our approach to cash is still evolving and we will continue to identify ways to incorporate good practice into this asset class.

Where we are also invested in pooled trusts, we engage with trust managers on these issues, and where possible, incorporate ESG into the process.
