Pollen Street became a signatory of the PRI in April 2019. The firm is ramping up involvement in 2020, including participation in PRI forums and collaboration initiatives. 

          Level 20 - a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving gender diversity in the European private equity industry.

A number of our employees are active members, and Managing Partner, Lindsey McMurray, has contributed to their thought leadership, and advisory activities.

          Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs

Two of our partners are active members of the council, which was formed as part of the recommendations from the "Alison Rose review of female entrepreneurship" commissioned by the UK Treasury in 2019. 

The review has shed renewed light on the barriers faced by women starting and growing businesses and identified ways of unlocking this untapped talent. In response, the government has announced an ambition to increase the number of female entrepreneurs by half by 2030, equivalent to nearly 600,000 additional female entrepreneurs, and this council will steer recommendations.

Description

          The Executive Director of Greenpeace was a keynote speaker at the Pollen Street AGM in November 2019 on the topic of how Investors can make a difference in supporting efforts to combat climate change.
