Unicredit Pension Fund does not employ dedicated employees. The staff is loaned by the Unicredit Group. Unicredit Group has its registered office and general management in Milan where the Pension Fund is also based.

The pension fund organization includes a coompany - EFFEPILUX SICAV - as Investment Company with Variable Capital (SICAV) incorporated under Luxembourg Law and listed on the official list of Undertakings for Collective Investment, authorised under Part I of the Luxembourg Law of 17 December 2010 ("2010 Law") on Undertakings for Collective Investment.

The Sicav of the pension fund is an "umbrella fund" divided into multiple Sub-Funds each representing a separate portfolio of assets.The Sicav delegates some Mangement Companies to manage the investments of the Sub-Funds, according to the investment policy.

With reference to ESG investments, the SICAV believes that responsible investing is an important part of good corporate citizenship as well as being important for long-term value creation. As a consequence the Sub-Funds are subject to a responsible investment policy that contains general responsible investment and environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles which are integrated in the security selection process.

The securities and third party funds selection is based on economic / financial analyzes as well as ESG considerations; both indicating risks and opportunities in the long run.
