The Trustees receive annual reports on matters pertaining to the ESG Investment and Proxy Voting Policy. The Chief Investment Officer keeps up to date on developments in ESG investing, in particular its potential effect on performance returns and regularly questions investment managers on their methods and experiences, using this information to determine any changes that may be required in investment strategy. The CIO was previously an investment manager and has first hand experience of investing including ESG factors. Our team regularly discuss ESG matters with our external investment managers in their regular meetings.
