PR 04. Incorporating ESG issues when selecting investments

04.1. Indicate if your organisation typically incorporates ESG issues when selecting property investments.

04.2. Provide a description of your organisation`s approach to incorporating ESG issues in property investment selection.

ESG issues are considered as part of the initial screening of investment opportunities. During the due diligence assessment, ESG considerations are taken into account in various work streams, like financial, technical, environmental and/or legal due diligence work streams.

There is a general preference for properties with superior energy-consumption characteristics.

In addition, ESG topics are considered as part of the selection of providers for outsourced services.

          We focus on energy-efficient properties when making new acquisitions and strive to refurbish the existing properties to a higher energy-efficiency standard when they come into the refurbishment cycle.
