The managers' analysts conduct more than 3,500 interviews and dialogues with companies every year. All investment securities are thoroughly investigated and analysed and assigned an ESG rating based on the information obtained in these dialogues. We invest particularly in companies and undervalued securities with excellent ESG ratings in terms of our ESG initiatives.

Outcomes

Until December 2019, the fund has outperformed the benchmark, especially on individual stock selection effects.

The 2018 Impact Report Executive Summary for the Global Green Bond Fund which we began investing in in 2018 was issued. This fund was used to invest in 66 impact bonds and provide partial or full support for more than 900 projects. 80 countries have received commitments and funding from these impact bonds and the bonds supported 6 environmental sectors and 5 social sectors.

Outcomes

The mother fund we are investing in performed at 2.48% at the end of December 2019.

The infrastructure fund is the first in Japan designed to invest in offshore wind power projects outside the country and contributes to the global shift to the renewable energy.

Outcomes

The project started as planned in 2019 and generated 1,133 GWh of electricity in six months from July to December.
