VIA AM are a Paris-based asset management company, created in 2015 by a group of experienced and successful managers and analysts specialized in systematic investment strategies.
Their objective is to maximize funds performances using proven and robust investment techniques.
VIA AM promote two 'state-of-the-art' systematic strategies: long only Smart-Beta on equity and "Risk-Premia" on multiple asset classes.

VIA AM also rely on a strategic partner, Eric Sturdza Management Company S.A., which supports funds operations & distribution.

In order to meet today's and tomorrow's challenges, VIA AM integrate several ESG criteria into its investment strategies directly through its accounting normalisation model.
VIA AM believe that long-term value creation involves both economic efficiency and the strengthening of a sustainable global financial system.

Increasingly, environmental, social and governance criteria are a major focus of the VIA AM’s strategic guidance.

VIA AM are strengthening their ESG initiative in 2019 with the launch of a SRI fund which the company manages by delegation: the BFT Partners - VIA Smart Europe Equity SRI fund, in partnership with BFT Investment Managers.

In order to improve the operational Eco Efficiency of VIA AM, the Senior Management decided to sponsor the planting of trees. 

- In 2019, VIA AM increased their involvement in the fight against global warming and more specifically in the reduction of CO2 emissions through the planting of Douglas-fir trees.

VIA AM financed more than 2,000 trees in 2019 and are committed to fund the planting of a new tree per million dollars of AuM at the end of each year.

This project is mastered from the production of the plant to the plantation, through the monitoring and maintenance of the plot. An independent certification of the maintenance and growth of the plantations is carried out by Ecocert environnement (www.ecocert-environnement.com).

-in Q4 2019, recycling boxes have been installed on VIA AM premises.

VERITAS INVESTMENT ASSOCIATES (VIA AM) act as Investment Manager of:
- the 5 funds of VIA AM SICAV, with approx 466 mio EUR of AUM as of 31/12/2019,
- the 2 funds of Solys SICAV, with approx 64 mio EUR of AUM as of 31/12/2019,
- the SRI fund of BFT Partners SICAV, with approx 5 mio AUM as of 31/12/2019.

Only VIA Smart-Equity World and VIA Absolute Return are exposed to Emerging Markets.

VIA Smart-Equity World is a UCITS fund invested in Global Equities through a systematic approach. Its strategy consists in selecting liquid global developed and emerging markets companies that have at the same time high profitability, good perspectives and have relatively inexpensive valuations. In order to better account for the economic reality of the stocks, their accounting data are normalized prior to assess their fundamentals. The portfolio is reviewed monthly to ensure proper reactivity, but it is rebalanced only by fraction to limit timing dependency and slippage. 

As of 31/12/2019, the VIA Smart Equity World fund’s exposure to Emerging Markets, according to the PRI, was broken down as follows: 7.5% in China (Hong Long listings), 3.4% in Brazil and 3.2% in Taiwan.

As of 31/12/2019, the VIA Absolute Return fund's exposure to Emerging Markets represented 3% of the AUM.
