GENUI will not invest in companies suspected of illegal or unethical business practices or invest in companies which are linked to the arms industry and arms trading, gambling industry, tobacco industry or human cloning.
GENUI pays particular attention to international law on human rights, and to the application of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria to the management of its private equity fund portfolios. Responsible investing is recognising that environmental, social and corporate governance issues affect the performance of the investment portfolios. Our objective is to create long-term value for our investors, which we believe can also be achieved by enhancing ESG criteria alongside traditional operational and financial criteria.
GENUI is a growth-oriented investor focused on established businesses with a proven and successful business model. As such, the Fund will focus on investments which are employed by the portfolio companies to drive the growth of the business or where the funds provided by GENUI are used to buy out existing shareholders.
