Conservation Resources is an investment organization that seeks to align private equity with conservation capital for the purpose of acquiring and managing a diverse portfolio of real asset properties. We are focused on offering portfolios of timberland and agriculture investments, with associated conservation and natural resource values. We do so in a manner that seeks to provide a competitive rate of return for our investors while optimizing the conservation values of the lands we manage. The firm and its various funds focus on making investments in North America, with an emphasis on the United States.

Conservation Resources has raised or invested over US $1.2 billion in capital since inception. We currently manage roughly 600,000 acres (240,000 hectares). Our investments have led to the permanent protection of over 345,000 acres (140,000 hectares) of land and the permanent sequestration of roughly 14 million MTCO2e.

Currently CRP invests exclusively in North America with a focus on the United States (U.S.). The U.S. is a preferred investment region for timberland and farmland because of its strong market fundamentals, efficient infrastructure, and availability of skilled forest and farm managers. In addition, its long history of private property rights and legal precedents with regard to conservation easement laws makes the United States well suited to our strategy of partnering with conservation organizations.
