Analyzing social impact of current and potential investees is part of the daily activities of staff. In addition, the manager has developed an ESG assessment methodology. All investment staff members are trained on this methodology and are required to implement it as part of the due diligence and post-investment processes.
Regarding portfolio companies, ALCP is explicit since early communications regarding its interest in investing in social impact as well as requirements regarding ESG compliance. ALCP requires each company to report on changes to ESG policies or ESG events each fiscal year.
