SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

The RI team's roles and responsibilities are wide-ranging, and include the developement of key policies, procurement of ESG data and research, engaging with and monitoring fund managers on their RI activities. The RI team share the responsibility for engagement activity so that we do not create silos and ensure we look at RI issues holistically. We also actively share our work with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure a joined-up approach. For example, our RI stakeholder group includes the CEO and meets on a quarterly basis. It also receives a monthly update on key RI activities.
