Staff numbers refer to those who are involved directly in the investment decision-making process and supporting roles in administration, marketing and human resources. Strategic investment decision making is carried out by the pension scheme trustees, using the advice of their appointed external investment advisers. Day to day investment decisions reside with the external investment managers. There are five pensions staff who have investment related roles and this includes supporting the implementation of the trustees' investment stragegy.
