The objective of internal staff engagement typically relates to gaining additional knowledge on ESG issues affecting the companies, or encouraging companies to improve their reporting. This can be in the form of encouraging the companies to report relevant ESG data, or discussing how the companies operations and strategy are benefiting from ESG trends.

The objective of collaborative engagements typically relate to improving companies transparency on ESG issues, and in some cases the objective may also be to support the companies to improve their behaviour or performace.

There is always a defined objective in the service-provider engagements.
