We are co-leads on Anglo American and supporting investors for Equinor.

We are signatories to the IIGCC and are currently one of the lead investors in the Climate Action 100+ initaitve. This involved liason with the company and involvement in the advancement of the climate change agenda in relation to the carbon performance of the company.

We are signatories to the Church Investors Group (CIG) and our CIO is the vice-chair of the group. He regularly participates in meetings on behalf of the CIG.

Description

          Within staff meetings, ethical issues have been discussed as case studies to be learnt from.  We also organise training days for trustees.

          Speaking at various events for investors considering or applying responsible investment, participating in panels.

          Multiple climate change papers have been written in 2019 and published internally.

          The CFB regularly writes and publishes articles cover ethical investing, climate change, and diversity in the board room.

          Our CIO is Vice Chair of the Church Investors Group, representing £21bn approx of church organisation investment assets. The organisation helps members and others think about responsible investment approaches. The Central Finance Board is a member of the Church Investors Group.

The organisation acts as a Christian witness in the investment industry, seeking actively to promote the work that it does on responsible investment, and working to encourage responsible investment across the entire investment community.
