SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.1. Indicate the internal and/or external roles used by your organisation, and indicate for each whether they have oversight and/or implementation responsibilities for responsible investment.

07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

ESG/RI is executed through internal decision-making forums, such as Skandia’s ESG Forum (including Skandia Group’s most senior asset management executives such as CIO, two CEO:s and Chairman of the Boards of Directors, as well as Skandia's Head of Sustainability), as well as an operative ESG Committee. Skandia's ESG team is responsible for screening, engagement and for recommendations for the development of the ESG strategy. The board has the overall responsibility for oversight of Skandia's ESG strategy.

In addition to dedicated RI staff, a large part of the operational responsible investing activities are integrated throughout the organisation, including investment professionals and management.
