ESG Objectives

          We require all portfolio managers to integrate ESG aspects into the investment process. Their ESG performance and process is continuously evaluated by Skandia's manager selection team.
        
          All external managers are informed, via RFI's and/or side letters, of Skandia's ownership policy and its main contents. The counterparty is asked to confirm in writing that they have read and understood Skandia's policy. For example, we expect portfolio managers to adhere to international norms, such as UN Global Compact.

          All external managers are informed, via RFI's and/or side letters, of Skandia's ownership policy and its main contents. The counterparty is asked to confirm in writing that they have read and understood Skandia's policy. For example, we expect portfolio managers to adhere to international norms, such as UN Global Compact.

          Skandia requires all appointed external managers to have a well-thought through process of how to approach responsible investing. This is assessed by Skandia in the selection process. It is one of several criteria for appointing a manager and something we as investors monitor continuously.
