At Skandia Fastigheter we have processes and routines that describes how to follow and implement ESG issues into our propert assets. For example we have:

  • action plans for energy, material and chemicals and waste.
  • green leases with almost 100 % of our tenants (office and retail)
  • Green Building Certification Systems in 53 % of our buildings
  • supplier code and ESG questionnaire for all framework agreements
  • Implemented system for choosing non-hazardous materials using Byggvarubedömningen
  • log book for all materials that are beeing built-in
  • Environmental programme and plan for all developing projects and renovations

Progress Achieved
          The climate corrected energy consumption (heat) should decrease with 3% yearly until 2020 and there after 1,5% until 2030 (accumulated decrease).
          Use Byggvarubedömningen as environmental assessment system for materials and products.
          Measure waste in our properties
          We have reduced the energy consumption with totally 9,0 % between 2012 and 2019.
          Fully implemented in our new Construction and partly in existing stock.

          Collaboration with tenants to decrease unemployment through a programme called CentrumAkademin
          Implemented tool and process has started. Questionnaire sent out.

          Update of Sustainability Policy
          Through a materiality analysis togehter with the management and chosen employees an overall sustainability strategy has been developed. Implementation is ongoing.
          A new policy is produced and we are waiting for an acception from the board members.

Green leases are only available in commercial agreements. Since the portfolio includes a variety of leases the proportion of green leases is limited. However the green leases within the commercial sector is close to 100%.
