SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

The Office Manager, together with one of the Partners of the company is in charge of reviewing procedures with regards to ESG matters within the company, for example, our RI policy is reviewed internally annually in order to asses actions plans carried out during the period and evaluate what other improvements can be done taking into account the objective which is share the mentality of positive impact with our portfolio companies.  In this sense, we use an external service provider to help with the implementation of ESG policies and actions plans as well as monitoring tools in our portfolio companies to assess their improvements with regards to ESG. We believe that if each company gets involved in their own drafting of an ESG policy, making sure that different departments are all aligned in a same common goal that is contributing through the nature of their businesses to a positive impact in society, in most cases they develop a sense of awareness that will endure even when the degree of maturity of these companies evolves to a divestment stage.

One of the main goals of our Board of Directors is to oversee the implementation of Miura's Investment Policy and ESG Policy within the firm as well as the portfolio. The implementation of the ESG strategy, including climate-related issues, is channelled by the portfolio managers and the ESG champions selected in each portfolio company. In addition, we develop an ESG reporting model adjusted to each of the portfolio company, to monitor achievements and commitments.
