SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.1. Indicate the internal and/or external roles used by your organisation, and indicate for each whether they have oversight and/or implementation responsibilities for responsible investment.

07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

The CEO and the Board have appointed a Head of Responsible Investments (in 2018) who is reporting to the CEO and Board and also overviews the investments in co-operation with the portfolio managers. The portfolio managers are implementing responsible investments.

The chain of command is as follows:

  • The Board and CEO are responsible for policy and routines. This is executed on the board meetings.
  • Head of Responsible Investments is responsible for developing ESG tools as well as screening of portfolios. This is executed as part of a routine and very much in dialogue with the CEO and the portfolio managers.
  • Portfolio Managers are responsible for ESG implementation and integration. They execute the responsible investment policy in their daily work, overviewed by the Head of Responsible Investments and the CEO.
