07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

Mr. Mario Tremblay is Vice-President, Public and Corporate Affairs, at Fonds de solidarité FTQ. As member of the Fonds’ Management Committee, he is also Chief Regulatory Compliance Officer and Chair of the Sustainable Development Committee. In this latter role, he is namely responsible for i) overseeing the Fonds’ sustainability strategy, ii) pushing forward the sustainability agenda during the Management Committee’s meetings, iii) and ensuring the sound implementation of the Fonds’ 2018-2021 Sustainability Plan. He recently played a decisive role in the development of the Fonds’ Just Energy Transition Strategy and is currently working on its implementation.

Many teams are involved in parts of the responsible investment process:

Relationships with workers perform social audits, in parallel to the due diligence process preceding any development capital investment by the Fonds

Legal Affairs are responsible for voting the shares held by the Fonds in Québec listed companies

Investment teams must comply with the Sustainable Development Framework Policy

The Board of directors oversees the implementation of the Fonds’ responsible investment and sustainable development policies, which are first approved by the management committee.
