07.2. For the roles for which you have RI oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how you execute these responsibilities.

Mariner’s ESG and Impact-focused effort is led by Jamie Silver, a Managing Director and member of the Firm’s Co-Chief Investment Office who is responsible for the ongoing and regular assessment and oversight of positions with regards to ESG information and risks, allowing for an independent evaluation of the portfolios away from the investment teams. Ms. Silver regularly meets with the Firm's portfolio management team to review its analysis in this area, including ESG ratings, in an effort to encourage full consideration of ESG factors in the investment process where appropriate and practicable. William J. Michaelcheck, the Firm’s Founder and Co-Chief Investment Officer and EG Fisher, Co-Chief Investment Officer and Head of Liquid Market Strategies, are also responsible for monitoring ESG integration and approving exceptions to the policy.
