Private equity

Sienna Capital is the alternative investments platform of the publicly traded investment holding company Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (“GBL”). Sienna Capital aims to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns by constructing a diversified portfolio of investment managers performing well in their area of expertise (private equity, debt and specific thematic funds).

Sienna Capital offers a differentiated proposition to alternative investment managers: long term patient capital in exchange for attractive financial terms and a role as a value-added partner. Our investment decisions are based on a rigorous and consistent process:

  1.   Identify attractive investment opportunities (comprehensible asset class, large and growing addressable market)
  2.   Identify and partner with talented managers applying a disciplined selection criteria and a thorough due diligence process
  3.   Negotiate favourable terms with managers (boost returns by obtaining reduced fees, preferred economics and other benefits for investors)
  4.   Provide a value added ecosystem, for example by helping managers raise money and attract talent
