ESG Integration in the Investment Process

As part of our pre-investment due diligence process, ESG considerations are incorporated as standard practice in our Investment Committee discussion papers and 100 Day Plans and the various sector specific ESG issues are prioritised, with a focus being on the most important in the short/medium term.

With regard to post acquisition engagement, the investment team will be required to define company specific ESG indicators and ensure that the target company will be equipped with the tools to monitor and measure ESG practices.

Our aim with this investment approval integration is to develop a better understanding of how ESG issues can be intelligently translated into incremental investment returns ultimately for the benefit of both CPE Capital and its investors.
