In addition to Verka VK in some cases at least the subsidiary Verka PK, VIFA Pensionsfonds, which is managed by Verka VK, and / or third party investors such as a Protestant regional church, whose capital investments are managed by Verka, are involved.

We hold EM Government and EM Corporate Bonds including Frontier Markets as well as EM infrastrucutre assets by external funds. All Theme funds concernded are managed in compliance with sustainability criteria. These are matched with Verka and include negative and positive criteria and best-in-class approaches based on ESG scores and ratings as well as information about the corresponding UN SDG impact. For the EM Bonds the carbon footprint has to be lower than 10 per cent under benchmark. The infrastructure fund mentioned above invests in alternative energy projects as part of development assistance in Africa and Latin America.Verka holds also a few Fixed Income direct investments in Emerging Markets like a bond of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. At the end of 2019, Verka also subscribed to a broadly diversified impact fund, which also invests in emerging and frontier markets.
