Listed equities – ESG incorporation

Since joining the PRI in 2008 Partners Group (PG) has had clear processes for how ESG factors should be integrated in our AUM invested in listed equities. Last year, we  updated our proxy voting policy and developed a document formalizing our approach to ESG in listed equities.

Listed equities -  engagement

Since joining the PRI in 2008 Partners Group  (PG) has had clear processes for how ESG factors should be integrated in our AUM invested in listed equities. ESG engagement for this asset class is, as in any other, responsibility of our deal teams and is triggered by ESG related risks identified, related to both sectors and practices.

Listed equity - (proxy) voting

Since joining the PRI in 2008 Partners Group  (PG) has had clear processes for how ESG factors should be integrated in our AUM invested in listed equities. PG's listed equity proxy voting policy focuses on the specific ESG corporate governance considerations that arise most frequently in our listed investments: board composition, executive remuneration, audit and internal controls, and environmental and social matters.

Fixed income - Securitised

Since joining the PRI in 2008 Partners Group  (PG) has had clear processes for how ESG factors should be integrated in our AUM invested in securitized fixed income. In 2019, we worked with our Broadly Syndicated Loans team to draft ESG language that is now included in all of our collateralized loan obligations. This language is informed by our Responsible Investment Policy and outlines the ESG-sensitive products and business practices that Partners Group will not invest in.
