Epoch's approach to ESG supports our mission as fiduciaries to address the interests of our clients and provide attractive, risk-adjusted returns to our clients. Our investment process will incorporate ESG issues when, in our view, these issues may have a material impact on either investment risk or return. We believe that good governance practices and responsible corporate behavior may contribute to the positive long-term performance of companies and can help reduce investment risk.

Epoch is committed to improving how we integrate ESG into our investment processes. This policy statement reflects our current approach, and we expect that our policy will evolve over time to reflect further enhancements.

SG 03. Conflicts of interest

Epoch has adopted a Code of Ethics which identifies conflicts and potential conflicts of interest that exist within the firm and the procedures and controls that have been adopted to manage these conflicts.  Epoch's Code of Ethics is reviewed annually by its Chief Compliance Officer and any changes are discussed with the firm's Board of Directors as part of the firm's annual compliance program review.  In addition, Epoch has a Conflicts Resolution Group that is comprised of the firm's Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer and the CCO to discuss potential conflicts of interest and determines the appropriate course of action.  Annual compliance training, which is provided to all new and existing Epoch employees, includes a discussion of how Epoch employees should address potential conflicts of interest.
