MAGI (HK) has formal policies and controls in place to ensure that we uphold our fiduciary duties and minimise potential conflicts of interest. There is a dedicated Compliance Team, which is independent from the Investment Team and reports directly to senior management. The Company has written Compliance Manuals and Codes of Conduct, which cover topics including staff personal trading policy and gift and entertainment policies. These policies are provided to all staff upon the commencement of their employment, and all staff must provide a written oath that they will abide by the policies (repeated at least annually).

The compliance policies are firmly ingrained in the day-to-day practices of the firms through established procedures and guidelines. Some of these procedures are enforced through proprietary electronic systems, which boost efficiency, reduces margin for human error and ensures effective record keeping.
