At the end of 2019, the carbon footprint of the FRR's action portfolio amounted to 233.05 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per million euros of turnover. It is 39.77% lower than that of the FRR's benchmark. From 2016 to 2019, the carbon footprint of the representative index of the FRR portfolio increased by 15.61% while that of the FRR portfolio decreased 3.33%. This “outperformance” stems mainly from the decarbonization process underway since 2014 on the equity portfolios developed in passive management with an acceleration in 2019 in active management.
