SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

A special committee composed of every Directions of the FRR is involved in Responsible Investment decisions (7 people including dedicated responsible investment staff).


SG 07 CC. Climate-issues roles and responsibilities

07.5 CC. Indicate the roles in the organisation that have oversight, accountability and/or management responsibilities for climate-related issues.

07.6 CC. For board-level roles that have climate-related issue oversight/accountability or implementation responsibilities, indicate how these responsibilities are executed.

  • Monitoting of incorporation of ESG/climate related issues in RFPs.
  • The board monitors and oversees progress each year by submitting FRR's global portfolio to the assessment of external ratings agencies (Vigeo Eiris, S&P Truscost).
  • The management Board is accountable to the Supervisory Board for the implementation of Responsible Investment Strategy.

07.7 CC. For management-level roles that assess and manage climate-related issues, provide further information on the structure and processes involved.

  • Climate related issues are considered for every RFP (10 per year in average - 50 questions related to ESG in RFP questionnaires).
  • The mangers monitors and oversees progress each year by submitting FRR's global portfolio to the assessment of external ratings agencies (Vigeo Eiris, S&P Truscost). 
  • Those assessments are used during investment committees to discuss with the asset managers.
  • Implementation of the Strategy

          Since 2005, ESG is embedded in every investment process. Every process is validated and monitored by the chief level staff and board members.
