We are involvemed in Level20, an organisation seeking to increase female representation in the alternatives industry. Atomico is a sponsor of Level20, with members of the team participating as both mentors and mentees to help promote diversity within the VC asset class. We also have senior team members who are members of Leadership Committees at Level20.

We have also partnered with SEO Alternative Investments to establish an internship-program focused on minority students for the Summer of 2019 and will repeat the program in 2020. We have also made it a requirement for investments that we lead to have a diversity policy in place, and have also established a number of internal initiatives to increase diversity within Atomico. 

We have also launched a conscious scaliing initiative to support our porfolio companies to consider the potential impact of their businesses on the environment and society as they scale. We worked with Diversity VC to publish a toolkit to support diversity initiatives https://www.inclusionintech.com/

We participated and wrote a case study for the British Business Bank study on diversity: https://www.british-business-bank.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/British-Business-Bank-UK-Venture-Capital-and-Female-Founders-Report.pdf

We are also involved in a number of other initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion. Our Partner and Head of IR has joined the Council for Investing in Female Entrepreneurs which is focused on establishing initiatives to further support female entrpreneurs. 

We also work with our investors and other VCs to discuss and promote best practices across diversity and ESG-related topics.
