A group of around 20 large investors representing a fifth of the Swedish Stock Exchange ask the 100 largest listed companies about their work on creating sustainable value. Presenting results and holding roundtable discussions annually or bianually. We were much involved in several working groups last year. Now entering into a new phase where we will push the whole stock exchange towards sustainable value creation. Activities during 2019 have been limited.

          Swedish Investors for Sustainable Development (SISD) is an initiative by our development agency, gathering about 18 Swedish large asset owners to work for Agenda 2030.

The Church chairs the working group on SDG 11 on Sustainable Cities, and is active in the group on SDG 6 on Water and Sanitation as well as in a group identifying barriers to mobilize more assets into the SDGs.

The Church is also involved in creating investment products for Swedish sustainable cities, with bankers, researchers and NGOs.

The project is one among several that is organized by IVA, The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Five material streams have been analyzed with the industries. The Church has gathered some financial practitioners to give the financial input on how to promote more circularity. The final reports with recommendations to policy makers will be handed over to, and commented by, members of our parliament.

          On an evaluation committee of the sustainable finance programme at a school of economics. Contributions to various researchers in Sweden and Europe to their papers.
