We focus on Europe with an emphasis on DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), Benelux, the UK, Ireland, and the Nordic region.

We only invest in companies with strong ESG credentials (in particularly a positive environmental impact).

Alpina’s approach is to:

Integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues into our investment analysis and decision-making processes, implement ESG KPI tracking and constant improvement of those during our holding period

Be active owners and integrate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices; and,

Encourage appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by entities in which we invest.

We do not monitor the actual economic impact of our ESG screening and ESG KPI improvments.
