PE 05. Incorporating ESG issues when selecting investments

05.1. During due-diligence indicate if your organisation typically incorporates ESG issues when selecting private equity investments.

05.2. Describe your organisation`s approach to incorporating ESG issues in private equity investment selection.

We developed a risk control list of ESG factors, including environmental, social and corporate governance factors, to screen out some companies with significant ESG risks.
There are 28 questions in the list, for example,
1. Does the target company conform to the company's investment strategy?
2. Does the target company involve environmental requirements?
3. Has the target company obtained the qualification license related to the main business? (such as environmental management system certification, scientific research patents, etc.)
4. Does the target company have a large number of related transactions?
5. Does the target company have anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies?
, etc.

We do due diligence on each issue to identify thoroughly the ESG risk in the target company.

06.1. Indicate what type of ESG information your organisation typically considers during your private equity investment selection process.

06.2. Describe how this information is reported to, considered and documented by the Investment Committee or similar.

We issue due diligence report and risk control report during due diligence process ,and keep records in the company's internal investment management system,and disclose all information to LP and  audit.
