Our engagement Policy describes the principles followed in relation to ESG engagement activities with investees or with those companies in which we have an interest in investing, either individually or through collaborative engagement initiatives. In 2019, we have started with individual engagement initiatives and in 2020 we will keep on incorporate collaborative engagement initiatives too.

In our individual engagement initiatives we collaborate with our ESG data provider in order to improve ESG information from those companies we engage with.

In some of our individual engagement initiatives we collaborate with our ESG data provider in order to improve ESG information from those companies we engage with. For this reason criteria used to prioritise is the same in both cases.

For the case of collaborative engagement initiatives, in 2019, even though did not carry out any initiative, we did set the criteria for prioritization in the engagement policy. These criteria are the ones we have followed to select those engagement initiatives we want to start in 2020.

Our engagement activities start with the prioritisation process. Once we have prioritised, we define an engagement plan (including objectives, tasks and schedule), which is shared with the company in order to agree on a final version.

We define an engagement plan (including objectives, tasks and schedule), which is shared with the company in order to agree on a final version.

Once the plan is defined, the dialogue process begins and we start monitoring the fulfilment of defined tasks and the level of achievement of objectives.

Escalation processes are considered under our engagement policy. Nevertheless, as engagement activities has started quite recently, no escalation process has been implemented for the time being.
