SG 16. ESG issues for internally managed assets not reported in framework

Describe how you address ESG issues for internally managed assets for which a specific PRI asset class module has yet to be developed or for which you are not required to report because your assets are below the minimum threshold.

Asset Class

Describe what processes are in place and the outputs or outcomes achieved

Fixed income - Securitised

For FI securitized several parts of our responsible investing policy apply. For example these securities fall under the exclusion policy and are managed by the same team and investment process for the FI corporates.

Cash

We do not have investment conviction on cash. Therefore it falls out of scope of our investment policy.

Other (1) [as defined in Organisational Overview module]

Several balanced investment allocations primarily invest in funds of Robeco. Robeco strives to incorporate ESG issues in investment decisions. For the vast majority of the investments we apply ESG integration indirectly. The ambition is to have ESG integration for the full composition of the portfolio. Sustainability can be a decisive factor in the fund-selection process. Capabilities from other asset managers might be selected if no comparable Robeco product is available.
