Glenmede is an independent wealth and investment management firm, established in 1956 to manage the investments and charitable contributions of certain charitable trusts established by the Pew family (founders of Sun Oil Company). The Glenmede Trust Company, N.A. ("GTC") is a national trust company, chartered and regulated as a limited purpose bank by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC").
In 2007, Glenmede formed a wholly-owned, SEC-registered subsidiary, Glenmede Investment Management LP ("GIM"), to provide proprietary equity and fixed income strategies to the institutional marketplace.
In this report, GTC and GIM are collectively referred to as "Glenmede".
