Westfield utilizes an active, fundamental, bottom-up approach to investing in domestic equity securities. We employ a growth at a reasonable price (GARP) investment style in accordance with our four primary beliefs:

  • Stock prices ultimately follow earnings progress.
  • Large cap companies coexist and compete with small and mid-cap companies, and our Investment Committee is at an advantage because they cover their respective industries across the capitalization spectrum,  understanding the market dynamics across all cap ranges.
  • Growth can be purchased at a reasonable price, and;
  • A team approach ensures collective best thinking is implemented.

Much like other inputs to our investment decision making process, ESG factors are considered with emphasis given to their materiality and relevancy to the investment decision being considered.  By implementing our investment discipline with a strong team that focuses on our core growth at a reasonable price philosophy, we believe we can add value for our clients over the long-term.
