The ESG Strategy is part of the global strategy decided by the Executive Committee, and is validated and overseen by a quaterly specific Committee : the ESG Strategy Committee. The CEO, the CIOs and the Director of Research and ESG Strategy have a role to define, improve, implement (directly or by supervising the implementation) the ESG policies, as they participate to the ESG Strategy Committee.

Portfolio managers have a responsibility in managing their fund according to Groupama AM ESG policies.

Mainstream portfolio managers have to respect ESG integration policy, and SRI fund managers have to respect a buy-list. This SRI buy-list is updated every three months, thanks to our in-house developed tool. Morever, they have a responsability to vote at shareholder meetings.

07.4. Additional information. [Optional]

Since 2016, we enhanced the integration of ESG factors into investment analysis by merging non financial analysis with financial analysis, as we believe it is the best way to have a material approach of ESG integration. The consequence of such a specific organization, is that we do not have a high number of dedicated responsible investment staff. However, each analyst takes into account the ESG aspects of their sector, and two of our analysts are also dedicated to developping a transversal approach for each environmental and social issue. One dedicated staff is in charge of developping a transversal approach on Governance, of developing our voting and engagement policy, and is a support for the SRI funds portfolio managers. Another dedicated staff is the Head of ESG Integration, in charge of implementing ESG policies and the last one is our dedicated portfolio manager.  The Director of Research and ESG Strategy oversees both analysts and Head of ESG Integration. One dedicated staff is in charge of implementig the CSR strategy.
