SG 07. RI roles and responsibilities

07.1. Indicate the internal and/or external roles used by your organisation, and indicate for each whether they have oversight and/or implementation responsibilities for responsible investment.

Board Members/Trustees:

  • Recommend the approval of the Plan's related Statement of Investment Policies & Procedures ("SIPP"), which includes guidance on how - and to what degree - ESG is integrated within the investment process
  • Aprove criteria for investment manager selection and performance.
  • Monitor investment manager performance and compliance with SIPP and applicable legislation
  • Approve the adoption of any investment manager mandates related to the Plan.
  • Approve the appointment, removal or retention of the investment managers.

CIO: advises on the SIPP as well as recommends and monitors strategies and investments

Directors: recommend and monitor strategies and investments, including the review of ESG issues as reported by external investment managers 

Analysts: recommend and monitor strategies and investments, including the review of ESG issues as reported by external investment managers
