We use the information of ESG score provided by MSCI ESG Research of the funds we include in the funds of funds. For fixed income external managers, given that we have given them a specific mandate, we cannot use specific ESG scores (given that we are not "buying" specific funds) but we consider in a significant way those managers´ score and information from their PRI reports.

In a different note, we monitor very closely the list of incidents in their portfolios. We want to know whether a company has been affected by any issue and how the manager has dealt with it. For example, in the fixed income mandate, we were closely following how one of the managers was analyzing the ESG profile of the Turkish government since we were challenging their inclusion of their bonds in the portfolio vs. their criteria of exclusions and how they were factoring the increasing ESG risk vs. the credit spreads.

05.3. Provide additional information relevant to your organisation`s monitoring processes of external managers. [OPTIONAL]

We are putting a lot of efforts in engaging with our managers in order to be able to receive ESG reporting for their funds and in their mandates.
