B & Capital is a private equity firm focusing on buyout and expansion investments in French SMEs with a view to helping them transform into mid-caps, applying a growth strategy (organic and external). B & Capital has entered in a strong partnership with leading consulting firm Roland Berger. The purpose is for the investment team to benefit from sectoral and functional expertise of Roland Berger partners as well as their network around the world.

B & Capital has been set-up in September 2016 as an independant PE firm. The firm ended the raising of its 1st investment vehicle RB Capital France 1 with a € 217m of commitments in October 2019 at the final closing, above its initial target set at € 200m. In 2019, the investment team was strenghened according to plan welcoming one more Investment Director. There are now 6 investment professionals and 1 Secretary General, in charge of operations and IR. The investment team will be steadily reinforced until it matches the target made up of 9 by year end 2021.

B & Capital is dedicated to invest exclusively in French SMEs and therefore does not intend nor plans to open offices abroad. Besides, thanks to its partnership with Roland Berger, the firm can support its portfolio companies in their plans to expand outside France quite efficiently without local presence outside France.
