17.2. Additional information.

We encourage our managers to become a signatory to the PRI.  The CRPTF sends annual ESG questionnaires to our external investment managers asking to what extent they apply the UNPRI.  If a manager is not a signatory, managers must explain if they have adopted their own ESG policy and how they evaluate the potential financial impact of ESG factors. We ask managers to give examples of where ESG factors have been taken into account in their investment decision process, and how proactive a manager is when it comes to encouraging companies in which they invest to consider ESG issues.
