During the year we implemented a process to record both votes cast AND votes not cast. This data is, however, not complete for the full year to 31 March 2020. Generally speaking votes not cast were a function of notices not being received, given a number of our mandates have multiple administrators in different jurisdictions. Our fund operations team have worked to address this. There were an insignificant number of deadlines missed, while there are examples of votes not cast as a function of the size or materiality of the holding, which generally stems from certain advsiory or transition arragements in our private client division.
